Classroom Expectations
Be EngagedWe will be busy in this room. You will be active. We need you to be engaged with the material in front of you. IT IS HOW YOU LEARN.
Make MistakesWe learn the most when we fail. It is alright to make a mistake in my class. The class is set up so that you can do your best without fearing failure.
Where To SitFrom time to time there will be seating charts, but for the most part you will be allowed to sit where it works for you. If you are engaged and you can be respectful
Be On TimeThis is a requirement of the school. If you come late, you will be behind and you will need to catch up.
|
Be RespectfulIf you are not engaged, it is my responsibility to help you to get engaged. Please know when it is time to get to work. When a teacher is talking, you should be listening. If you have work time, you should be working on what is assigned. If you are working with a partner, you should be talking with them.
Communication!I am here to help you! I want to make sure that you learn and that you are doing well. If you need help, or if you have an issue, you need to ask me about it. You may not always get what you want, but I will do everything I can to help you.
Fix Your MistakesWhen you make a mistake, we will work together to get it fixed. The only way you will fail is if you fail to work at fixing your mistakes.
